FIRE BAN EFFECTIVE AS OF JULY 10, 2026
Members please be advised that the Chief and Council of the Cook’s Ferry Indian Band has enacted a fire ban that affects all Reserves of the Cook’s Ferry Indian Band.
The Cook’s Ferry Indian Band and Kamloops Fire Centre currently prohibits:
• Category 1 camp fires as defined in Wildfire Regulation;
• Category 2 open fires as defined in Wildfire Regulation; and,
• Category 3 open fire as defined in Wildfire Regulation.
The Cook’s Ferry Indian Band’s fire ban is in effect until further notice, or the Kamloops Fire Centre rescinds its prohibition.
FOR CERTAINTY THIS FIRE BAN APPLIES TO ALL RESERVES OF THE COOK’S FERRY INDIAN BAND IRRELEBANT OF WHICH PROVINCIAL FIRE DISTRICT HAS JURISDICTION.
