Department of Social Work

Supporting Community Wellness Through Connection, Advocacy, and Care

The Department of Social Work is here to support the wellness of Cook's Ferry Indian Band members and their families. Whether you are navigating a difficult situation, looking for resources, advocating for a loved one or simply unsure where to start, we are here to help.

Our approach is community-centred, culturally aware and focused on building on the strengths of individuals, families and the community.

We recognize that wellness looks different for everyone. Social work supports may include helping community members access services, advocating on their behalf, connecting them with resources and providing support during challenging times.
