Whether you're interested in learning to hunt, reconnecting with traditional knowledge, or sharing your experience with the next generation, Community Hunting Camp offers an opportunity to learn together in a supportive and welcoming environment.

Over three days, participants will spend time on the land learning hunting safety, harvesting practices, cultural protocols and meat care while connecting with Elders, families and experienced hunters. You do not need previous hunting experience to participate.

Youth, families, first-time hunters and experienced hunters all have something to contribute. From stories shared around the table to lessons learned on the land, Hunting Camp is about strengthening skills, confidence, culture and community.

Camp Includes

  • Cabin accommodations

  • Meals and refreshments

  • Hunting education and mentorship

  • Cultural teachings and knowledge sharing

  • Opportunities to learn from experienced hunters and Elders
