Looking for a safe, active and welcoming place after school? Come hang out, stay active and connect with your community at the new Youth Drop-In and After-School Program.

The After-School Youth & Community Drop-In program offers youth ages 6 to 18 a safe, welcoming and engaging place to spend time after school while building healthy habits, learning new skills and connecting with others.
Programming takes place every Tuesday and Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Chief Whistemnitsa Community Centre Gym in Spences Bridge beginning September 22 and running through December 16.
Youth can take part in sports, recreation, fitness activities, tutoring, homework support, cultural learning opportunities, creative projects and leadership development activities.
The program is designed to be flexible and youth-focused. Participants will help shape activities based on their interests while working alongside positive mentors, staff, Elders and community members.
Community drop-in access and supervised weight-room use will also be available during program hours and healthy snacks will be available each session.
