New Community Services Centre: Upcoming Engagement

Cook’s Ferry Indian Band is developing a new, fully funded community services centre in Antko, located in Merritt, B.C. This multiplex will serve as a hub for community and Band services in Antko.

Join us for the upcoming engagement sessions facilitated by Two Worlds Consulting.
Naming Circle:
Purpose: Help us think of names for the building in nɬeʔkepmxc ́n
Date: Tuesday, May 26, 2026, 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., followed by lunch
Location: Spences Bridge Community Hall or Zoom
Information-Sharing Sessions:
Purpose: Learn about the plans for the centre and share your ideas
Option 1: Saturday, May 30, 2026, 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Zoom only
Option 2: Wednesday, June 3, 2026, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.; Spences Bridge Community Hall or Zoom
Option 3: Community BBQ in Merritt; date and location to be announced.
Survey:
Purpose: Tell us more about what you want from your community services centre
Dates: Survey opens from May 26 to June 7, 2026
Location: Online version will be shared on Facebook, with printed surveys available to fill out at the Antko Office
Open Houses:
Purpose: Hear what community members have contributed to the plans for the community services centre and let us know whether you agree with those ideas. Join for a meal and a chance to win door prizes as well!
