Your Safety Is Important

Pimainus Lake Cabin Resort is located in a remote wilderness setting. Guests are responsible for following all safety guidelines and resort policies during their stay.​

Fire Safety

Guests must:

  • Follow all BC wildfire restrictions and campfire prohibitions.

  • Use designated fire pits only.

  • Never leave a fire unattended.

  • Fully extinguish fires before leaving.

  • Keep combustibles away from wood stoves and fire pits.​

Wood Stove Safety

  • Use wood stoves responsibly.

  • Never leave a wood stove unattended while in use.

  • Keep furniture, clothing, and other combustible materials away from heat sources.

Propane Safety

Important Notice

Propane cooktop grills provided at the resort are for outdoor use only.

Never use propane grills inside a cabin.

 

Using propane appliances indoors can result in:

  • Carbon monoxide poisoning

  • Asphyxiation

  • Fire

  • Serious injury or death

 

Guests found using propane equipment indoors may be required to leave the resort and may forfeit accommodation fees and damage deposits.

Water System

The resort water system supplies water to cabins and shared facilities.

Guests must not:

  • Operate pumps

  • Turn valves

  • Adjust water equipment

  • Access water infrastructure

 

Water system equipment is for authorized personnel only.

First Aid

First Aid supplies are available on site.
 

Guests should familiarize themselves with the location of:

  • First Aid supplies

  • Fire extinguishers

  • Emergency contact information

  • Muster station

Boating Safety

When using boats:

  • Wear a life jacket.

  • Supervise children at all times.

  • Be aware of changing weather conditions.

  • Use boats responsibly and safely.

Wildlife Awareness

Guests may encounter wildlife while visiting the resort.

Please:

  • Store food properly.

  • Observe wildlife from a distance.

  • Do not feed wildlife.

  • Keep the resort clean and free of attractants.

Emergency Information

In the event of an emergency:

  • Proceed to the designated Muster Station.

  • Contact emergency services if available.

  • Notify resort management as soon as possible.

 

Guests are encouraged to review all emergency information upon arrival and familiarize themselves with resort safety procedures.
